{friday finds} Falling for Fall

print recipe

Fall roared into northern Colorado last night- literally. We had a day of wild, whipping winds usher in some lovely cooler temps (and snow is already falling in the mountains!!!). The crisp air has me so excited for all things fall- pumpkins, apple cider, adorable kiddos running around in their costumes… and I picked some lovely inspiration that is helping me to get in the mood for fall. Hope you enjoy!

*If you live in northern Colorado, or the Denver area, please watch the Sweet C’s Facebook page! I am gathering a fun group of moms and kiddos to head out to a pumpkin patch in the coming weeks. The more, the merrier!

This Baked Pear in Lavender-Maple Syrup from Funkytime is just absolutely divine. I need this, now! Does she deliver? 😉

I have to admit- I am actually not a fan of candy corn- it’s just too sweet. I don’t know why, but I’ve just never really liked the stuff, which is sad, because it is so stinkin’ cute! Cue Blog529’s Cancy Corn Butterfinger Pops– I haven’t tried this recipe, but I am known to love Butterfingers- and I think it would mellow out the candy corn flavor. I’m going to make these either way, because they are so adorable!

I am dying over this Donut Tree Tutorial from One Charming Party.  While it might not be super fall-specific, what sounds better than a party on a cool, crisp night with some cinnamon nutmeg coffee and an adorable tree of donuts?

One of my favorite parts of fall doesn’t really have much to do with Autumn at all- it means that Christmas is just around the corner! I have already started planning Christmas treats and gifts, and I am glad to see I am not the only one! I absolutely love this Etched Glass Hot Cocoa Jar from Oopsey Daisy. Alison has me dying to try etching!

Here’s my button- I’d be tickled pink if you grab one for your blog!
