Baby B’s Nursery!

I’m almost finally done with Baby B’s nursery, and I am so excited to share the beautiful room with you! I’ve been sharing bits and pieces of her nursery for weeks now, but I finally have a post of the whole room ready for you to browse, as well as a list of all the items in the nursery and links to all the tutorials you can find right here to get the same look!

From a lovely white crib, to a comfortable daybed/reading nook for the family to hang out, to some whimsical decorations and one truly lovely bright wall color I LOVE how it turned out and I am so excited to share the final pics with you!

In B’s room, you’ll find:

-Wall paint color matched to Martha Stewart’s “Sea Glass” multi-surface paint

-Paper Mache Paint Chip Monogram

-Quilt from our church (using Sunstone Quilting’s longarm services- Natalia is seriously talented!!)

-IKEA rug

-Delta Winter Park Crib from Target

-Painted Glass Vase

- Pottery Barn Inspired Peony Lampshade

-Antique eyelet tablecloth as a crib bedskirt

-Fjellse daybed from IKEA

-Pillows in pink and white pillow covers to hide old pillows we had

-Eyelet bedskirt from Target

-Antique tin star, $15, from a local shop

-Fat Quarter Wall Art

-Pink Pom-Poms from Martha Stewart’s party line (purchased at Jo-Ann’s)

-Chalk Paint Dresser

-Original artwork from Nellie B’s on Etsy (my talented momma!!!). My mom has a ton of beautiful original artwork in her Etsy shop for AMAZING prices. Seriously, you won’t find deals like these anywhere. You need to check it out now!! (She used to paint for a high end store that catered to many celebrity clients in Santa Monica. Her creations are so fun and work perfectly in nurseries!)

-Antique tin flower cone $5, from a local shop

My mom was a HUGE help in putting together B’s room. Since I had pre-eclampsia, I wasn’t able to be up and mobile like I wanted to be before B was born, and my mom was great to come out early and stay with us to help decorate (and stay with us and help change diapers and entertain little man!!). Thanks, Mom!!

Do YOU have a nursery you’d like to show off? Please leave me a link here, or upload a picture to the Sweet C’s facebook page! I love seeing nursery ideas, and I can’t wait to see all of yours!

I love the idea of a day bed in the nursery. Very handy for those nights when baby is sick/ cranky and or teething and you need to be close by but still get some shut eye.

Love it! I cannot wait to have another so I can do another nursery! I might snag some of your designs…like the paint chip monogram letter. <3 it!

The paint chip monogram is a bit of a pain (holy smokes I cut them into tiny pieces!!) but it looks even better in person! And best part, outside of being time consuming, it is SO easy!

Looks so cute Courtney! I’m finally going to be able to put together my baby girl’s nursery this summer. I love the color on the wall–maybe I’ll have to do the same! I also love displaying fabric and sewing as art and am totally incorporating that in as well. Great job and thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks, Heidi! I am only a moderately decent sewer (straight lines and purses are about my limit), nothing like your AMAZING quilts. I am going to force my mom to buy one of your puffy quilt tutorials and make me one for B’s room! And little man’s room!
