This post is brought to you by American Crafts. I was compensated and provided with materials, but all opinions are 100% my own.
I LOVE embroidery. Like, obsessed. But… I’m not any good at it. At all. That is one of the reasons (out of like 4,000) that I am really, really into the new Amy Tangerine line from American Crafts. They have some awesome embroidery stencils and other fun, creative and colorful goodies that inspired me to make this fun Easy Embellished Treat Box!
This line (sold through HSN) has been sold out, and will be back on HSN on MARCH 24 with some amazing deals! I can’t really say how much I love this line- I want all of it.
All the Amy Tangerine crafts from American Crafts have been so much fun. I love the colors and patterns… they make me so excited to create! This treat box is just one project you’ll be seeing – Ive been making a lot more fun things with these supplies!
The embroidery tool is super cool. You take the stencil and the provided punch, lay down a soft and absorbent mat (provided in the pack) and punch holes using the stencil. Then go through and embroider your shape! You do have to loop around once for it to work with certain shapes, but it is quick and easy to loop around! It was a bit tricky on an assembled gable box that I had on hand- but regular embroidery would have been impossible to maneuver through an assembled box.
I opted for an arrow, and embellished the box with some teeny washi tape (LOVE!!!), a sticker button, and kept the box closed with one of the adorable patterned clothespins! (American Crafts always has the most fun clothespins- I want to use them on everything!!)
How would you like to get a bunch of delicious cookies in a cute box like this? Or some homemade twinkies (coming soon!!!)
All of the shapes and fun colors in the line would make for some completely adorable designs on a treat box, gift card, wrapping paper, or in a scrapbook!
