I am so excited to be a part of this amazing group for a Christmas Printable and Vignette blog tour- some of my very favorite blogs have come together to bring you gorgeous home decor ideas and fabulous free printables to help decorate your home for the holiday season. Christmas is such a special time for me, I had a hard time finding a quote I thought would sum up the immense feeling of gratitude, wonder, joy, and humility I feel- as well as the uncanny ability for simple decorations, lines overheard in a movie, and chords in songs to bring me right back to feeling like a child.
I wanted to pick a quote that summed up all of those things in a really fun and simple way- and this gem from Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol does it perfectly for me. I havent really seen many printables with quotes from Dickens- and I HAD to find a simple, pretty way to display this lovely little quote.
I printed the file (which you can download below) on adhesive kraft paper, and then stuck it to a cork square that I affixed a small leg to (to make it stand as a frame). I then added some simple (but very gorgeous) gold and silver striped washi tape to the corners of the printable and set it on our coffee table in front of our christmas tree- surrounded by some gorgeous glimmering glitter trees I picked up at Joann Fabrics and a large rustic urn I have filled with poinsettias.
They all sit on a green houndstooth table runner from Target I got last season- (it is for a dining table, but I LOVE the way this table runner fits on our long antique coffee table. I got this table from goodwill, and it was insanely banged up, so I coated it with some black chalk paint to match some black side tables I have in the room already. It is a lovely little table- best $5 ever!).
It's an insanely simple, chic and warming setup that works in any house- mix warm, natural textures like kraft paper, cork, and florals with glittery gold and tidy patterns like houndstooth for a comfortable yet classy look for the holidays!
But enough about my little setup- because I am **dying** over the fabulous printables from the other 22 bloggers below! I mean- come on- could there BE any more talent in one group? Check out how gorgeous these setups are, print out YOUR favorites, and show us how you're displaying them!
