Holiday parties can quickly become over complicated. There are endless to-do lists, tons of things you’d love to make but never get around to, and insane pressures to be perfect. This year I’m trying to make fun and delicious treats that aren’t overcomplicated so there is more time to spend with my family and friends during the holidays- and I am so glad I’ve found fun and colorful cups and plates to match the festive feeling from SOLO.
Notice the fun chalkboard style panel on my cups? They came right with the cup! I love these new My SOLO cups. Not only are they sturdy and come in fun, vibrant colors- but they have a fun new My SOLO Cup design that allows you to quickly decorate and personalize your own cup! How awesome is that for holiday parties?
My kids loved scratching their names into cups or drawing little pictures. You can use a pencil, a toothpick or even your fingernail to make fun new designs! The cups also work well with slightly warm apple cider and iced cocoa. Never put hot liquids in a solo cup though- it becomes far too hot to hold. That’s why this fabulous iced cocoa is so perfect for holiday parties!
Need more party ideas? Check out SOLO’s Facebook page and SOLO’s Pinterest page! All you have to do to personalize your own cup is peel back the protective sticker, and then get to designing! These are so great, you can let your guests decorate their own and keep track of their drink throughout the night.
My kids are terrible abut remembering which cup is theirs- and this makes it so easy! The fun and bright yellow cups worked perfectly with some delicious iced cocoa (recipe below), topped with lots of gorgeous gold sprinkles to match our simple and easy drop sugar cookies (recipe below) for a fun twist on a cookies and milk snack that is perfect for holiday gatherings, and fuss free just like SOLO!
