Summer is almost over, but there is still a ton of time to sip delicious, fresh, and sweet drinks- and today I am sharing my minty twist on Alizé’s Shortcake Cocktail to share how I #AlizeInColor ! This cocktail is sweet but a great mix of fruity flavors, complimented with lemon and mint- like a minty strawberry shortcake, but with a hint of passionfruit! It’s a great party drink that is smooth and sweet.
If you haven’t ever tried Alizé Passion, it is a delicious premium French Vodka full of passionfruit flavor. It comes in bright colors and is bursting with flavor- it’s great in mixed drinks, and even on it’s own over ice!
I tried both the bleu and red passion colors- they are so delicious and easy to mix in drinks. The Bleu Passion has hints of cherries and passionfruit with ginger- and the Red Passion (my favorite!) blends passionfruit with a robust cranberry flavor! I really like that Alizé is delicious both on its own, and in cocktails making it a great versatile liquor to have on hand!
I changed up a few things from Alizé’s recipe and added mint, tweaked the amounts, and swapped the fresh strawberries and simple syrup for my strawberry simple syrup (so easy to make, and you can freeze it in ice cubes and then pop into drinks later!).
