Quick and Easy Easter Egg Garland

Super simple Easter Egg garland- a fabulous and inexpensive way to welcome spring! #Easter #garland #easteregg

Need some last minute Easter decor (that won’t break the bank)? I came across some super inexpensive plastic easter eggs at Target- $2 for 50- and knew I needed to make something fun with them!

First, when looking for plastic eggs, I recommend buying ones with little holes in the top an bottom of the eggs, since we will be threading them onto a string.

I used thick yarn and a big embroidery needle. I tied off one end of thread onto the needle and started threading each egg individually- unless you are crazy coordinated it is easiest to crack them open, thread, and then put them back together.

I made one long string, and then doubled it up as a swag and hung it under a pretty spring bouquet on the pallet I keep on my front porch- the backside of my worn wood baseball flag pallet (like the burlap flower cone? I sell them in my Etsy shop!).

I love how fun and festive this egg garland is! And how incredibly easy and inexpensive it was to make. What are some of your favorite quick holiday crafts?

So I was at WalMart today and they had boxes of 220 eggs w/holes in them for $4.98. They had both pastel and bright colors (I went with pastel). This is my next project:) Thanks for the idea!!!

What a clever idea. So easy, and I bet my kids would love stringing them along.
