Quick and Easy Saint Patricks Day Straws

Saint Patricks Day straws- perfect for green milk!

To go along with some fun Saint Patricks Day ideas we have been using to teach the kids about all things Irish lately, I wanted to make a fun accompaniment to some green drinks- and these Quick and Easy Saint Patricks Day Straws were a big hit to go with some green tinted milk and Lucky Charms Treats!

First, I opened up some images in my Cricut Craft Room and got to cutting them on some shiny cardstock I found at Hobby Lobby (in the aisle with loose cardstock and papers.) The clover shape is from Cricut’s Spring Fever Seasonal Cartridge and The Mustache is from their Billionaire cartridge (which has SO many great mustaches on it!!.)

When I cut them, I got out some tape, and the kids and I taped them onto the straw. You could use a non-toxic glue, but paper straws are porous, and I didn’t want the kids to drink glue- so I just taped them onto the straw and the back of the shapes. This way, my two toddlers could secure them too and not make a gigantic mess.

They came out so cute, I think I am going to start making decorated straws for all their parties, and special holidays!

St Pats Straws, green milk and lucky charms treats make a perfect snacktime or party on saint patricks day!
