The holidays are coming up so quickly- we’re eagerly looking forward to all of our Christmas plans this year! One of our favorite things to do each year is entertain friends and family. It can be really hard to find delicious, unique drinks- but I have a new holiday cocktail and mocktail recipe that will have you singing deck the halls all winter long! These Sparkling Cranberry Mules are one of the most delicious things you’ll sip this winter!
I have recipes for virgin mules, moscow mules, peach and mint gin mules, and gin bucks (the gin moscow mules). This recipe is such a delicious Christmas-y take on the mule that you’ll be sipping all winter!
I’m making this drink with vodka, but you can also use cranberry moonshine, gin, or tequila. This is a deliciously adaptable drink!
If you’re making the virgin version, simply skip the booze and up the additions- OR you can even try mixing in some juniper soda ( I love DRY soda brand’s Juniper soda), apple juice, or even apple cider! This drink is a great base for all kinds of delicious additions!
I’m calling for ginger beer here, but I HIGHLY suggest finding the Cock ‘n Bull brand- it is absolutely the most delicious ginger beer for moscow mules. It makes a huge difference! You can find it at many grocery stores or the non alcoholic mixer aisle of a liquor store. If you want something super sweet, you could use ginger ale- but the spicy addition of ginger beer (which is not incredibly sweet, rather extremely full of the flavor of fresh ginger) is a lovely compliment to many alcohols (and juices!).
