Confession: I love fries.
I especially love fries at fancy steakhouses, where they present them in fun, lovely cones and other displays.
I’ve seen a couple of french fry caddies on the market- but I don’t eat them enough to justify spending anything over a few dollars to serve them in.
Enter my mom and a fun little thrift store she found in littleton- and we have a completely ingenious use of an old box spring from a mattress!
I’ve seen springs in antique shops and thrift stores a ton of times, but I never really thought of buying them. Mom snagged a few, and I have some other fun ideas in store for them- but I wanted to show this lovely idea mom had!
Simply roll a little wax paper into a cone shape, and pop into the spring.
Dump in fries.
Isn’t this a lovely way to serve one of the most delicious treats ever? Such a perfect way to serve fries for a dinner or party! And they are great to carry around- perfect for mingling.
(And BTW- who would ever know these were McD’s in this cute display?!?!)
