Chocolate Pudding

I love this creamy and fluffy frosting.

It's rich, smooth, and decadent - like a mousse, but spreadable on cakes and cupcakes - the perfect frosting!


Sugar Flour Cocoa Powder Whole Milk Unsalted Butter Bittersweet Chocolate Vanilla Salt


Whisk sugar, flour, and cocoa.  Next whisk in milk and transfer to a small saucepan.

Next - 

In the saucepan, whisking constantly, cook for 4 to 6 minutes until boiling. Transfer the mixture to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap touching the surface, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Melt the chocolate

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chopped bittersweet chocolate in 30-second intervals. Cool and reserve.


Cream butter in the stand mixer. Add pudding in small amounts. Mix in melted bittersweet chocolate until just combined. Add vanilla and salt - mix on medium until light and fluffy
