My husband and I recently took some time to take the “game off” and enjoy a Sunday afternoon lunch alone- without kids- at Buffalo Wild Wings to try the new Game Changer Beer by Redhook and grab some delicious food while catching some baseball and golf on tv.
We started the meal with a super delicious chili queso dip and some cold, tall Game Changer Beers by Redhook. Game Changer is a great, well balanced sessionable beer (it is only 4.6 ABV, so you can enjoy a tall one and still pay attention to the game you’re watching). It is light and refreshing and brewed to compliment wings- it doesn’t overpower them, but it has just enough hops to cut through spicy wing taste. It’s also a beer many of my friends who don’t always order beer would like- the taste isn’t overpowering. Definetely one you can share with hubby on a lunch date and enjoy!
Next up came our wings. We got a few flavors to try out- Hot, Thai Curry, Garlic and Parmesan and Jerk. They were all so good! I hadn’t ever had the parmesan garlic before- they are delicious and totally mild and addictive.
They were so good, we decided to grab a huge to-go order to take home with us for my mom who was watching the kiddos.
Little known fact: if you toss the wings in tinfoil and bake them at 350 for 15 minutes they are GREAT as leftovers! We ordered so many we had some a day later and they were still just as delicious!
