Chopped Italian Sandwiches

Delicious easy sandwiches loaded with Italian salad - deli meat, cheese, and a zesty Italian dressing!

Ingredients

  • 3 sub rolls or hoagie rolls
  • 5 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • 5 slices pepperoni
  • 5 slices salami
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 large or 6 small slices of ham
  • ½ cup chopped red onion
  • ½ cup chopped baby peppers or pepperoncini peppers.
  • 8 slices tomatoes around 1 medium tomato, beef tomatoes are best
  • 1 cup of shredded lettuce
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Begin by chopping all the ingredients - mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, salami, ham.
  • Combine the chopped meats and cheese in a mixing bowl with shredded lettuce, onions, and peppers.
  • Chop tomatoes and add them to the bowl, then pour in red wine vinegar.
  • Add olive oil, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix everything together until well combined. Then blend in mayo and mustard.
  • Halve the sub rolls or hoagie rolls and generously layer them with our vibrant chopped medley. Seal it all off with the top roll and enjoy your mouthwatering Italian chopped sandwich!
