Candied Rose Petals

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • petals from 1 rose or equivalent
  • ΒΌ cup sugar

Instructions

  • Lightly brush each side of a rose petal with egg white. Works best if holding with tweezers for more flexibility and coverage.
  • Sprinkle with sugar.
  • If rose looks wet, or sugar absorbs quickly, add more.
  • Set on wax paper or parchment paper and let harden, about 2-3 hours.
  • Add to desserts as a topping and enjoy!
