Red Wine Granita

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 bottle red wine

Instructions

  • Heat honey and water in a pan on medium heat until honey is completely dissolved.
  • Let cool.
  • Add wine and water/honey mixture to a large pan (you can pre-cool the pan in the freezer for even better results)
  • Add to freezer.
  • Scrape mixture with a fork every 25 minutes to help add texture and create ice crystals.
  • When solid and the texture you like, spoon into a glass and serve!
