Bacon and Broccoli Charred Salad

- 2 slices bacon thick cut
- ½ pound broccolini usually two packages from the grocery store
- 1 ½ cup cherry tomatoes
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
Cut bacon into small bits, about 1/4".
Add bacon to pan and cook on medium high until lightly browned (do not cook all the way to crisp).
Add broccolini and let soften, stirring only occasionally.
Let broccolini slightly char on al sides (the tips will brown slightly- this gives an amazing rich and smoky flavor.)
Add cherry tomatoes and garlic powder, and cook until cherry tomatoes begin to pop and char.
Serve hot alongside your favorite main dish!
