- ½ pound bacon
- 2 tablespoons bacon grease
- ½ cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste or minced garlic
- ¼ teaspoon white pepper
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt plus more to taste
Cook the bacon until crisp and transfer to a paper towel lined plate to cool for about 20 minutes.
Reserve 2 tablespoons of bacon grease for the recipe.
Add the cooled bacon, bacon grease, softened butter, garlic, and spices to a food processor and pulse until fully combined.
Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 5 days in the refrigerator or 1 month in the freezer.
- Ground black pepper may be used if you don’t have white.
