- 1 lb peeled shrimp tail on or off (according to your tastes)
- 2 tablespoons your favorite blackening spice mix can be found in spice aisle
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- juice of 1 lemon
Add shrimp to a colander and rinse well under cold water. Thoroughly pat dry with a paper towel.
Add shrimp to a mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil and blackening spices. Toss to coat evenly.
Preheat air fryer to 375-400 degrees, let run for 5 minutes.
When air fryer has preheated, add shrimp to basket and fry for four minutes.
Open basket and stir.
Air fry additional 4 minutes. Shrimp should be firm, opaque, and 120 degrees - if it is not yet to temperature, keep air frying (stir every 2 minutes) until done.
