- 36 Oreos
- 2 20 oz packages of green melting wafers
- 2 20 oz packages of white melting wafers
- St. Patricks Day Sprinkles
1. Get out two small bowls. Dump the green wafers in one and the white wafers in the other one. Put the bowls in the microwave and start melting by using 30-second intervals, mixing in between.
2. Grab the Oreo mold and place a spoonful of melted chocolate in the mold until evenly covered. Place the Oreo right in the middle. Lightly push the Oreo down and put more melting chocolate on top until evenly covered.
3. Repeat step two until all the molds have chocolate-covered Oreos. Place the molds in the fridge until hardened.
4. If using a silicone mold, peel the Oreo out. If using a plastic mold, flip the mold and lightly tap the mold until the Oreos fall out.
5. For Leprechaun hats, add black fondant to the oreo with a bit of white frosting as “glue” and add gold sanding sugar to the top - it will stick with a bit of water spritzed over the oreo. Drizzle candy melts or icing over oreos and top with nonpareils for confetti oreos. “Glue” candy shamrocks to the top of oreos with frosting.
6. Decorate the Oreos however you'd like! Make sure to let the decorations chill and harden before serving, then enjoy!
