- 1 pound of Ground Beef
- 4 tablespoons of Oil
- ½ cup of finely diced Bell Pepper
- ½ cup of finely diced Onion
- 4-5 cloves of Garlic finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons of Tomato Paste
- ? cups of Ketchup
- 2-3 tablespoons of BBQ Sauce
- ? cup of Water
- 1 tablespoon of Brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of yellow Mustard
- ½ teaspoon of Worcestershire Sauce
- Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes Optional
- ½ teaspoon each of Salt and Pepper
- 8 brioche buns
Finely chop and keep separated the onion, garlic, and bell pepper.
Brown the ground beef with 2 tablespoons of oil. Drain and remove from pan.
In the same pan, saute the bell pepper, garlic, and bell pepper.
Add the cooked ground beef back to the pan with the vegetables.
Add the tomato paste, water, ketchup, BBQ sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and cook for 2-4 minutes until the sauce is reduced to the desired thickness.
Remove from heat and serve hot on a brioche bun.
