For the Naan:
- 3 cups mozzarella
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 ½ cups blanched almond flour
- 1 tbsp Gluten-free baking powder
For The Garlic Butter Topping:
- 2 tbsp Butter
- ½ tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, microwave mozzarella and sour cream, mixing every 30 seconds, until soft and shiny. (Mozzarella and sour cream can also be heated in a double boiler.)
Add eggs, flour, and baking powder to melted cheese dough and mix well until combined.
Knead until not sticky - add a little almond flour at a time if it is too sticky to knead.
Split into 6 balls.
Roll out balls into flatbread shape using a rolling pin.
Lay rolled out dough on lined baking sheet, giving a bit of room for spreading.
Bake 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
Melt butter in pot and mix in parsley and garlic powder.
Brush garlic butter over naan and return to oven for 5-7 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove and serve.
