Ingredients

  • 48 ounces beer preferably a European ale or lager
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 10 whole cloves
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 orange sliced
  • Nutmeg for garnish

Instructions

  • Add the beer, sugar, spices, and half of the orange slices to a small crockpot and cook on low for 2.5 hours.
  • Ladle into a mug and add a fresh orange slice and a dash of nutmeg and enjoy.
