Easy Homemade Limeade

Ingredients

  • 6 cups water divided
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 3 tsp lime zest about 3 limes
  • Ice

Instructions

  • Heat the sugar and 2 cups of water in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved.
  • Let cool completely. 
  • Add the lime juice and lime zest to the cooled sugar water. 
  • Combine the sugar lime mixture with the remaining 4 cups of water. 
  • Serve over ice.
