- 2 sheets puff pastry defrosted but cold
- 1 cup Nutella hazelnut spread
- 3 bananas cut into ¼ inch sliced
- 2 tbsp melted salted butter
- 1 tsp white sugar
- 16 chocolate chips or edible eyes
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Lay the puff pastry sheets out. Cut one sheet into 8 rectangular pieces and the other sheet into strips (these will be the mummy casing so cut them however thick or thin you prefer).
Spread nutella on each rectangle of puff pastry then place a few banana slices on top. Place 2 banana slices in the top half for the mummy eyes then set strips of puff pastry on top and push in around the edges to seal them in place.
Place your 8 mummies on the prepared baking sheet. Spread the melted butter on top of the puff pastry and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool slightly then enjoy!
