  • Stir in the heavy cream, broth, smoked paprika, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  • Stir in the butter beans and let simmer for another 5 minutes, allowing them to absorb the flavors.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and creamy. Adjust consistency with a splash of broth or cream if needed.
  • Stir in the lemon juice to balance the richness.
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and extra red pepper flakes if desired. Serve warm.
