Crispy Tofu And Soba Noodles Stir Fry
Crispy air-fried tofu tossed with soba noodles, broccoli, celery, and onion in a savory stir fry sauce with a spicy soy finish.

Crispy Tofu
- 14 oz extra-firm tofu pressed and cubed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or lime juice
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger or ½ tsp ground
- 2 cloves garlic minced (or ½ tsp garlic powder)
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Cooking spray or 1–2 teaspoons neutral oil for air fryer crisping
Spicy Soy Sauce (to finish/drizzle)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 –2 teaspoons sriracha or chili garlic sauce to taste
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar optional, for brightness
Marinate the tofu
Press tofu well, then cut into cubes. Toss with 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp vinegar, 1 tbsp sesame oil, ginger, and garlic. Let sit 10–15 minutes while you prep everything else.
Air fry the tofu
Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
Sprinkle tofu with 2 tbsp cornstarch and toss until coated (it should look lightly dusty, not gummy).
Lightly spray the basket and tofu with cooking spray (or drizzle with a tiny bit of oil).
Air fry 12–15 minutes, shaking halfway, until deeply golden and crisp.
Stir fry the vegetables
Heat 1 tbsp neutral oil in a large skillet/wok over medium-high heat.
Add onion, broccoli, and celery. Stir fry 4–6 minutes until crisp-tender.
Finish with crispy tofu + spicy soy
For the crispiest tofu, press well and don’t skip the cornstarch coating.
Rinsing soba is key so it doesn’t get sticky or gummy in the pan.
If you want tofu extra crispy, keep it separate and add it on top right before serving.
