Garlic Shrimp Pasta

  • In a large pot boil the pasta. While the pasta is cooking move forward with the recipe. The pasta will take approximately 8 minutes. Reserve a ½ cup of pasta water. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat add 2 tablespoons of butter and the oil.
  • Add the shrimp, asparagus, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook the shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip the shrimp over and cook for 2 to 3 more minutes or until the shrimp are pink.
  • To the skillet, add the remainder of the butter, pasta, tomatoes, parmesan cheese, parsley, Italian seasoning, lemon juice, and pasta water.
