Sourdough discard muffins are a delicious way to reduce waste, transforming the tangy, leftover sourdough starter into moist, flavorful muffins perfect for breakfast or a snack.

You will need: All Purpose flour Sugar Baking powder Baking soda Sea salt Unsalted Butter Sourdough discard Yogurt Egg Vanilla extract

Whisk dry ingredients and then add the wet ingredients.

Combine well but dont over whisk.

Divide the batter into the muffin tins and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake for 8 minutes at 425 degrees then decrease temperature to 350 degrees for 12 minutes more.

Let muffins cool for 10 minutes and remove to cooling rack.
