Smash burgers are so juicy and flavorful, you can get these amazing diner-style burgers at home!
– ground beef – american cheese – hamburger buns – salt and pepper, to taste – butter, for grilling
I like to weigh the balls to ensure equal-sized patties to make double burgers.
Butter a hot grill skillet and using a metal spatula, smash your ball of beef into a patty.
Add slices of American cheese, and use water and a dome to steam and melt.
Remove the dome and use the spatula to remove the patties and serve on buns.
