My goal is for even the most beginner home cook to feel empowered in the kitchen.

How To Make Simple Syrup

To make this simple syrup, we will need the following ingredients:

  • Frozen peaches – The frozen peaches bring a sweet and fruity flavor to the simple syrup. You can use fresh peaches if they’re in season, but frozen peaches work well too and are available year-round.
  • Granulated sugar – The sugar is used to sweeten the syrup and make it thick and syrupy. You can adjust the amount of sugar to your liking, depending on how sweet you want the syrup to be.
  • Water –The water is used to dissolve the sugar and create the syrup. You can use filtered water to ensure that the syrup is clean and free of impurities.

Use this Method:

Tips and Tricks to Perfect Peach Simple Syrup

Dissolve Sugar Completely – To make simple syrup, you will boil water and dissolve sugar, stirring often, until it has combined and dissolved completely.

Fresh or Frozen – For this recipe, we are using frozen peaches or fresh peaches (if you can’t get fresh peaches, using freshly-frozen is a delicious, easy way to pack this recipe full of peach flavor) to boil with water while dissolving sugar to create a syrup.

Find Ripe Peaches – If using fresh peaches, look for ripe peaches and remove peach pits – we like to lightly mash the peach fruit to get even more flavor from the peaches as they cook!

Can use Canned – We prefer using frozen or fresh peaches for this recipe – but if you can’t get either, canned peaches can work in a pinch.

Don’t use Syrup Packed Peaches – Please be sure to use only peaches packed in water – not in syrup – as it will be far too sweet and throw off the flavor of your simple syrup. Be sure to use frozen peaches that do not have any sugar adde
