How to make Lemon Poppyseed Fruit Glaze

This fresh and delicious fruit salad gets an extra kick of flavor from a simple lemon poppyseed glaze.

This glaze is delicious on fruit – and perfect for summer fruit salads!

It comes together in seconds, and even works on angel food cake or cupcakes.

To make this glaze, mix the ingredients in a small bowl:

  • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp. poppy seeds

To store leftover fruit glaze, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days.

If glaze is too thick, thin with more lemon juice.

For thicker glaze, stir in more powdered sugar. ‘

Depending on the amount of moisture in the air, and your powdered sugar, you might need to add a little more juice or powdered sugar to get to the desired consistency.
