Welcome to San Sebastián – a jewel on Spain’s Basque coast where vibrant culture meets breathtaking scenery. My Epic Trip to San Sebastian Spain

From Pintoxs bar crawls, to sitting on the famous La Concha Beach, to peaceful boat trips around the Bay of Biscayne – my far too short trip to San Sebastian – the luxury beach town in northwest Spain.

I started the trip at the Ultra Luxury Akellare – a Michelin Key Hotel, with it’s own Michelin Star restaurant, Ocean View Suites with a private plunge pool (possibly the most dreamy and luxurious hotel stay I have ever experienced), while my friend Katherine started in Hondarribia.

We then met up in the city – I stayed at the Hotel Atari (whose Pintoxs bar is fabulous, and it is situated in tons of Pintxos bars serving up amazing dishes in the old town area) – staying in the Old Town gave perfect easy access to both the convention center, both beaches, and most activities in the city. The old town is also mostly pedestrian minus early mornings, making it a fantastic great place for families to explore together!
