- Chicken breasts (2, cooked and cut) – Tender chicken breast brings hearty, lean protein to the salad.
- Eggs (2 hard boiled) – Hard-boiled eggs add creamy texture and rich flavor.
- Avocado (1, sliced) – Sliced creamy avocado lends a buttery, nutrient-rich element.
- Cherry tomatoes (1 cup halved) – Juicy cherry tomatoes offer sweet-tart bursts of freshness.

- Red wine vinegar (? cup) – Red wine vinegar gives the dressing a zesty, tangy base.
- Lemon juice (2 tbsp, ½ lemon) – Fresh lemon juice adds brightness and acidity.
- Garlic cloves (1 large, minced) – Minced garlic infuses the dressing with bold, savory depth.
- Worcestershire sauce (2 tsp) – Worcestershire sauce brings umami richness and complexity.
- Dijon mustard (1 ½ tbsp) – Dijon mustard helps emulsify the dressing and adds a tangy kick.
- Sugar (1 tsp) – A touch of sugar balances the acidity.
- Water (¼ cup) – Water lightens the dressing without dulling the flavor.
- Olive oil (1 cup) – Olive oil adds body and a smooth, rich finish.

Tips and Tricks for a Perfect Cobb Salad
Season and sear the chicken well – Well-seasoned, grilled or pan-seared chicken adds more flavor than plain poached or boiled.
Chop everything evenly – Uniformly sized ingredients make the salad easier to eat and more visually appealing.
Use room temperature eggs – Letting hard-boiled eggs come to room temperature before slicing helps avoid crumbly yolks.
Make the dressing ahead of time – Chill it for at least 30 minutes so flavors meld for a better taste.
Serve with crusty bread or toast points – A side of bread makes it a complete and satisfying meal.
Customize the cheese – Try blue cheese, goat cheese, or gorgonzola instead of feta for a different flavor profile.
Prep ingredients ahead – Cook bacon, chicken, and eggs in advance for quick assembly on busy days.
