These easy cheeseburger wraps are a fast, flavorful way to enjoy all the best parts of a cheeseburger in a simple, handheld meal. Perfect for busy nights, game day, or feeding picky eaters, they’re a recipe you’ll want on repeat.

Ingredients You Need To Make Easy Cheeseburger Wraps

To make this recipe, we will need the following ingredients:

  • Ground beef (85–90% lean) – The hearty base of the wraps, delivering classic cheeseburger flavor without excess grease.
  • Salt and black pepper – Season the beef and enhance its natural flavor.
  • Garlic powder – Adds savory depth without overpowering the burger taste.
  • Onion powder – Brings that familiar cheeseburger-style seasoning in a smooth, even way.
  • Smoked paprika (optional) – Adds a subtle smoky note that deepens the overall flavor.
  • Shredded cheese – Melts into the warm beef, adding richness and that essential cheesy bite.
  • Shredded iceberg lettuce – Provides fresh crunch and balance against the warm, savory fillings.
  • Large flour tortillas – Soft and flexible, making them easy to wrap and hold all the fillings.
  • Burger sauce – Ties everything together with creamy, tangy flavor that makes the wraps taste just like a classic cheeseburger.

Steps to Make This Quick Cheeseburger Wraps Recipe

My Best Cheeseburger Wrap Tips

Season the beef well. Don’t be shy with salt and pepper — this is where the classic burger flavor comes from.

Drain excess grease. Too much fat can make the wraps soggy.

Let the beef cool slightly. This keeps the lettuce crisp and prevents the tortillas from getting soggy.

Warm the tortillas first. A quick warm makes them easier to roll without tearing.

Don’t overfill. A little restraint makes wrapping cleaner and easier to eat.

Add sauce last. This helps keep everything from sliding out when you roll the wraps.

Cheeseburger Wrap Add Ins & Variations

If you want to changeup the flavor of these wraps, we love these additions:

  • Diced onions – Add crunch and classic burger flavor (red or white both work).
  • Diced tomatoes – Fresh, juicy, and perfect for balancing the richness.
  • Sliced or diced jalapeños – Great for a little heat.
  • Pickles or relish – Adds that tangy bite everyone loves in a cheeseburger.
  • Bacon bits – Because everything’s better with bacon.
  • Extra cheese – American, cheddar, Colby Jack, or a blend all work well.
  • Shredded lettuce or cabbage – For extra crunch if you like it hearty.

Cheeseburger Wrap Questions Answered

Can I make Cheeseburger Wraps ahead of time?

Yes — the ground beef can be cooked and seasoned ahead of time, then stored in the refrigerator until you’re ready to assemble.
You can also pre assemble, but I recommend leaving out the lettuce if reheating to prevent wilting. Swap for tomatoes, jalapeños, pickles, or onions instead.

What tortillas work the best?

Large flour tortillas are best since they’re soft, flexible, and hold all the fillings without tearing.

Can I add extra toppings?

Absolutely. Pickles, diced tomatoes, onions, or even bacon all work well — just don’t overfill the wraps.

How do I keep shredded lettuce from getting soggy?

Let the beef cool slightly before assembling and add the lettuce just before serving. If making for meal prep, skip the lettuce.

Are these good for kids?

Yes! These are very kid-friendly and easy to customize for picky eaters.
