Tips to Make the Perfect Apple Crumble

This apple crumble is incredibly delicious – and SO easy. There are a couple considerations to making amazingly delicious and perfect crumble though!

First, a silicone baking pan will make this recipe super simple – just toss it in a pan and bake.

Ifyou don’t have a silicone pan, make sure to grease it well with butter, shortening, or cooking spray – preferably the kind with flour in it.

Cinnamon Roll Apple Crumble Grilling Instructions for a Tailgate

To make this apple crumble at a football game this tailgate season, you just need to make a couple of modifications.

First, grease a disposeable aluminum baking pan with butter.

Next, place it inside a bigger aluminum baking pan filled with water, to be a double boiler.

Cover the crumble with foil, and place the double boiler on a covered bbq grill over hot coals for 20-30 minutes, checking occasionally as coal temperature may shift or vary.

You can also pre-bake this dessert and pop it on a grill to warm it up, and then spread icing on it and serve!

What to Enjoy with Cinnamon Roll Apple Crumble

Vanilla Ice Cream: The creamy and cold texture contrasts beautifully with the warm, soft crumble, enhancing the overall dessert experience.

Whipped Cream: Light and airy, whipped cream adds a subtle sweetness and creamy texture that complements the spiced apple filling and cinnamon roll base.

Caramel Sauce: Drizzling caramel sauce over the crumble adds a rich, buttery flavor that pairs wonderfully with the apples and cinnamon.

Hot Coffee: The bitterness of coffee balances the sweetness of the crumble, making for a perfect cozy combination, especially during cooler months.

Spiced Tea: A warm spiced tea, like chai, with its notes of cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves, complements the spices in the crumble and enhances its flavors.

Vanilla Custard: Smooth and velvety, vanilla custard adds a rich, creamy layer to the dessert, making it even more indulgent.

Apple Cider: Whether hot or cold, apple cider complements the apple crumble with its tartness and spiced undertones.
