Ninja Creami Dole Whip Recipe

When we went to Hawaii we got to go to the Dole Plantation where the pineapple company is originally based. Of course, their pineapple dole whip was available everywhere in Hawaii and we learned how the company had created the dessert as a way to promote the sale of pineapples. The plantation is beautiful and a wonderful place to visit but hey – Hawaii is far – you can make your own dole whip at home with a Ninja Creami. This new Ninja product is like a super blender and can blend things to a texture as smooth as ice cream.

I make this pineapple dole whip regularly when our friends come over because their daughter has a dairy allergy and can’t eat ice cream. You can make alterative types of dole by simply using the whole frozen fruit and juice of that fruit or mix it up! I have also added tequila to this which is delicious but also melts faster. Let me know in the comments what combinations you try!

Ninja Creami Dole Whip Recipe Ingredient

  • Frozen pineapple (1 cup) – Sweet and tangy, frozen pineapple provides a refreshing base and creamy texture for the Dole Whip.
  • Light pineapple juice (6 oz can) – Naturally sweet and slightly tart, light pineapple juice enhances the fruity flavor and helps blend the Dole Whip into a smooth, icy treat.

How to make Ninja Creami Dole Whip

  1. Combine. Put frozen pineapple in ninja creami pint. Add the pineapple juice.
  2. Blend. Turn the ninja creami to sorbet. If it is still chunky add a little more pineapple juice and hit respin.
  3. Enjoy. Once at desired consistency, enjoy!

Tips and Variations

Consistency Adjustments:

  • If the mixture is too thick, add a small amount of pineapple juice gradually until the desired consistency is reached.
  • If the mixture is too runny, add more frozen pineapple chunks to thicken it up.

Sweetness Balance:

Taste the mixture before serving; if it needs more sweetness, add a bit of honey, agave syrup, or a small amount of powdered sugar.

Flavor Enhancements:

  • Add a splash of coconut milk for a creamier texture and a tropical twist.
  • Include a few drops of vanilla extract to enhance the overall flavor.

How to store Ninja Creami Dole Whip

If storing the Dole Whip, place it in an airtight container and freeze. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving to soften slightly.

How to serve Dole Whip Ninja Cream

  • Serve the Dole Whip immediately after blending for the best texture.
  • Use a piping bag to swirl the Dole Whip into cups or cones for a fun presentation.

Garnishes:

  • Garnish with fresh pineapple chunks, shredded coconut, or a sprig of mint for added freshness and visual appeal.
  • Consider adding a maraschino cherry on top for a classic touch.
