How To Make Valentines S’mores Snack Mix

To make this recipe, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 2 cups Golden grahams cereal
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup m&m’s
  • ½ mini chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup Valentine’s sprinkles
  • In a large bowl, mix ingredients well.
  • Save small sprinkles and marshmallows to add at the end – sprinkles will fall to bottom of snack mix, and marshmallows dry out quickly when exposed to air.

Tips To Perfect S’mores Snack Mix and FAQs

  • For a bit more flavor, try mixing snack mix, then spreading out on a baking sheet lined with parchment or wax paper. Drizzle melted chocolate over the snack mix, then let set. Scoop up and add back to bowl to serve.
  • Sprinkle in a little salt or some red hots for a bit of a salty or spicy kick.
  • Add Reese’s peanut butter cups or Reese’s pieces if peanut butter is ok to serve at your school.
  • Try adding in chocolate chunks or bits of chopped up Snickers for more flavor!

FAQs

How long can I store snack mix?

Since we’re not using any dairy in this recipe, it can last for up to two weeks, when stored in an airtight container – however your marshmallows may dry out.

How do I store snack mix?

Keep leftovers in a cool, dry place. If making ahead of time, consider leaving marshmallows out until just before serving, since they dry out quickly.

Can I use other candy?

The sky is the limit! Use candies you love the taste of, and have fun!

Do I have to use Golden Grahams?

We’re trying to mimic the taste of s’mores with this recipe – you can use any cereal you’d like as the base or swap the Grahams out for corn Chex.
