How To Make Simple Syrup

Simple syrup might sound complicated – but it’s really just sugar and water that are boiled to combine to dissolve into a mix that is easy to stir into drinks to sweeten them without having to worry about sugar granules.

To make a basic simple syrup, you need:

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 & 1/2 cups granulated sugar

To make simple syrup, please follow our steps below:

  • Place half of the water into a medium-size saucepot.
  • Add the sugar and whisk it together.
  • Place over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved. You know the sugar is dissolved when the mixture becomes clear again.
  • Let it cool slightly on the countertop.

How To Get More Juice From Lemons

Lemons are the most important part of lemonade – so it’s essential to get as much juice out of them as possible!

There are a couple easy tips and tricks to get as much juice out of your lemons as possible, so you’re using a ton to get enough to get a tart, sweet flavor.

  • Roll lemons on countertop before cutting to loosen juice.
  • Microwave lemons for 20 seconds loosens juice to get more juice from each lemon.
