How To Make Simple Syrup
Making your own simple syrup is fantastically easy – just boil equal parts water and sugar until the sugar is dissolved, then store.
You can flavor simple syrup with fresh fruit juice or herbs – but use the method below to whip up a quick and easy simple syrup for this drink:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Bring water to a boil, and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Add to jar, refrigerate for up to a month!
Recipe FAQs
Lemon drop martinis are great for parties and events, because they can be made ahead of time and shaken with ice when you’re ready to drink them!
Store in a jar with lid or pitcher with lid in refrigerator for up to four days.
Don’t prepare with ice if making ahead of time, shake when serving, so ice doesn’t water down your drink.
