My kids love La Croix, so I decided to create a fun seasonal mocktail just for them – and this Peach La Croix Mocktail is always a huge hit with them in summer. I used peach La Croix as the bubbly base and added fresh lime juice, mint, and a splash of maple syrup for a naturally sweet, zesty twist. The result is a refreshing drink that feels fancy but is totally kid-friendly. It’s become a hit at our house and is especially perfect for summer birthday parties (my kids birthday are June and August!). My boys love having their own “special drink,” and I love that it’s simple, festive, and made with wholesome ingredients.

At Sweet C’s, I add lots of tips in all of my recipes – because I am a home cook without any formal training, and I find I am more confident making dishes when I understand why it works, and what each ingredient means to the flavor of a recipe. My goal is for even the most beginner home cook to feel empowered in the kitchen.

How to Make Peach La Croix Mocktail

First assemble the following ingredients:

  • Peach (1/2) – Fresh peach adds juicy sweetness and a burst of natural fruit flavor.
  • Lime (1 juice and zest) – Lime juice and zest provide bright, tangy citrus notes that balance the sweetness.
  • Mint (4 leaves) – Mint offers a refreshing herbal aroma and cooling taste.
  • Maple Syrup (2 tbsp) – Maple syrup gives the mocktail a rich, earthy sweetness with depth.
  • La Croix (12 oz, any flavor) – La Croix adds a bubbly, crisp finish that ties all the flavors together.
A wooden bowl with peaches, a can of La Croix, fresh mint, lime halves, and a small dish of honey are arranged on a cloth—perfect ingredients for crafting a refreshing peach La Croix mocktail.

Muddle

Add the peach, lime juice, lime zest, mint, and maple syrup to the glass and muddle well.

A mason jar with peach slices, a halved lime, a peach, a can of Peach La Croix mocktail, a black muddler, a gray cloth, and a bowl of peaches rest on a marble surface.

Combine

Pour cold La Croix over the muddled peach mixture and enjoy!

Tips and Tricks for Peach La Croix Virgin Cocktail

Use ripe peaches – Fresh, juicy peaches give the best natural sweetness and flavor.

Muddle mint gently – Press the mint leaves lightly to release oils without making them bitter.

Chill all ingredients – Cold peaches, lime, and La Croix keep the drink crisp without needing much ice.

Add zest for depth – Lime zest enhances citrus notes and balances the sweetness.

Strain for smoothness – Strain the peach puree if you prefer a clearer, more refined drink.

Experiment with La Croix flavors – Try peach-pear, apricot, or mango La Croix for fun variations.

Serve immediately – To preserve carbonation and fresh mint aroma, serve right after mixing.

Adjust sweetness – Use more or less maple syrup based on your taste or the sweetness of the peaches.

Garnish thoughtfully – A peach slice, mint sprig, or lime wheel makes it visually inviting.

Make a pitcher – Scale the recipe for easy serving at gatherings; mix everything except La Croix until ready to serve.

FAQs

Can I use canned or frozen peaches instead of fresh?

Yes, canned (in juice) or thawed frozen peaches work well—just adjust sweetness and strain if needed.

What La Croix flavor works best?

Peach-Pear, Apricot, or even Mango La Croix pair nicely with peach and lime.

Can I make it ahead of time?

You can prep the peach-lime-mint mixture ahead, but wait to add La Croix until just before serving to keep it fizzy.

How do I make it sweeter or less sweet?

Add more or less maple syrup to taste, or substitute with honey or agave if preferred.

Do I need a blender for the peaches?

A blender or food processor makes it smooth, but you can also mash them well by hand for a chunkier texture.

Is there a substitute for maple syrup?

Yes, you can use honey, agave syrup, simple syrup, or a sugar-free alternative.

Can I turn this into a cocktail?

Absolutely—add a shot of vodka, bourbon, or peach schnapps to make it boozy.

How can I make it look pretty for guests?

Garnish with mint sprigs, lime wheels, peach slices, or even edible flowers for a festive look.

Is it kid-friendly?

Yes, it’s completely non-alcoholic and can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike.
