Tips To Get Perfect Ham and Cheese Keto Rolls:

This gluten and grain free low carb ham and cheese cloud bread is super simple โ€“ and can be made either soft and foldable (for a pita, tortilla, or wrap style bread) โ€“ OR with a crunchier crust like a fresh baked artisan bread roll.

The method for each is a little different โ€“ and for the slightly crunchy crust youโ€™ll need a special perforated silicone bread baking mat (I use a Silpain mat) to raise your bread up over any excess liquid runoff, giving you a deliciously fresh baked bread crispy crust.

Tips For Perfect Easy Keto Rolls:

To get perfect, easy bread-like rolls that are a great keto appetizer or keto side dish, there are a couple tips and tricks to ensure the perfect bread-like texture even though we’re just using ham, cheese, and eggs to make this low carb bread roll.

-Use a Silpain mat or similar perforated silicone baking mat over your cookie sheet.

-Any extra egg liquid will drop below the mat, allowing the bread to create a crispier crust that mimics fresh artisan bread.

To Get a Soft Keto Bread for a Tortilla or Wrap:

Ham and cheese rolls make a delicious wrap or bread for sandwiches – and luckily, it is incredibly easy to make these ham and cheese rolls into a soft, wrap-like keto bread.

Use the following steps below:

-Bake on parchment paper or foil and trim off any egg liquid that runs off from rolls.

-Donโ€™t cook until crunchy browned โ€“ bread will be fully cooked, but not crispy on the top.

Made these for hubbieโ€™s work event, since heโ€™s doing keto & they turned out delicious, & quick & easy to make! UsI d sausage instead of ham b/c of availability. Theyโ€™re more cheese based than egg, which made for a nice change from traditional egg casseroles. I quadrupled the recipe & made in little & big muffin pans! 5 stars!

So glad you loved them! I like that you made a variety of sizes too, Merry Christmas to you and yours!

  4. Penney says:

Do these have a egg taste to them? I abhor egg taste.

    1. Katherine says:

The ham taste is stronger than the egg. If you want to hide i,t try adding a tsp of your favorite hot sauce, it covers egg flavor really well. Hope this helps!
