What is a Fat Bomb?
Fat bombs are savory or sweet, and contain cheese, oil, butter, or nut butter as a way to load up with fat when on a keto diet.
They are similar to energy balls or energy bars – but don’t have the carbs you’d get from chocolate, honey, or dates.
How To Store Fat Bombs
Since fat bombs are meant to be prepared and saved for later, it is important to store them properly so you can have a filling snack anytime you need one.
These fat bombs can be stored for up to a week when sealed in an airtight container in the fridge.

You can speed up the time it takes to soften cream cheese by chopping into smaller pieces as it warms.
To speed up setting time, you can also put the balls into the freezer and they will set in half the time.

- 8 ounces of cream cheese, softened 2 Tablespoons fresh chives, chopped 1⁄2 teaspoon dried dill
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 cup everything bagel seasoning
- Prepare a cutting board by covering with a slice of parchment paper. Set a side.
- In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to combine the cream cheese, fresh chives, dried dill, salt and pepper using medium low speed.
- Use a small cookie scoop to scoop 1 inch round balls onto the prepared cutting board.
- Cover and place in the refrigerator for 25 minutes.
- Roll each ball in the everything bagel seasoning and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
