Cranberry Apple Sangria – a delicious easy Christmas Sangria bursting with cranberry apple flavor for the perfect Christmas party drink!

This Cranberry Apple Sangria and Virgin Sangria is a delicious drink that I love to make a big batch of when we have friends and family over during Christmas festivities – and is so delicious, I like to find reason to pour glasses of this delicious sangria all winter long.

It’s a delicious blend of apple cider, cranberry juice, red wine, white wine, brandy, cinnamon sticks, and more!

This classic combination of cranberries and apples is a huge hit- and all the more perfect with a hint of cinnamon and mulling spices.

This is a cold sangria best served over ice, but it is delicious, refreshing, and full of wintry flavors that we love this time of year – and can also be made into a sparkling apple cranberry sangria, or a non alcoholic sangria, too!

I try to add non alcoholic swaps to cocktail recipes when they are available because I have so many friends who don’t drink, so be sure to make note of the substitutions if you’re looking for a delicious and festive drink everyone at your Christmas party can drink as well as the original boozy one!

Sparkling Cranberry Apple Sangria Recipe

To make this drink even more festive, you can make a sparkling cranberry apple sangria recipe with just a few simple additions to top your cocktail with!

I like to make my sangria and then place it in a large pitcher, and then leave out bubbles for guests to use to top up their own drinks – which helps the carbonation stay fresh for each guest.

-Top sangria with prosecco when serving to give a festive bubbly kick.

-Top sangria with club soda for a less alcoholic bubbly cocktail.

Serving tip: It is an old wives tale – but I’ve always found that keeping the handle of a metal spoon in an open bottle of prosecco helps keep the bubbles lively – even overnight in the refrigerator!

If you’re serving this sangria and inviting guests to top theirs up with some bubbly, pop a pretty spoon in the top to help keep the bubbles going!

Virgin Cranberry Apple Sangria Recipe

To make this drink kid friendly, please follow the delicious and easy substitutions below – all can be found at pretty much every grocery store:

For red wine – Use grape juice or sparkling grape juice.

For white wine – Use sparkling apple juice.

For brandy – substitute 1/4 cup Italian soda cherry syrup.

Mulled Cider Slow Cooker Sangria Recipe

I also have a similar mulled cider cranberry crockpot sangria recipe to check out if you love this one- it is so easy to heat and serve at parties, and it is always a delicious showstopper at gatherings.

This sangria is not very different – but the flavors completely change in the slow cooker – making a strikingly sweet and soothing warm sangria that is simply magical on a cold, festive winter night.

It is SO delicious and easy – just stir to combine and let your house fill up with amazing aromas!

  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • ½ cup mulling spices
  • Sliced apples and fresh cranberries to garnish.

  • In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine cider mixture from stove and all other ingredients.
